Composed in 1720 and published in Amsterdam in 1725 with poems that explained what the music was intended to evoke, “The Four Seasons” by the Italian Antonio Vivaldi is probably one of the best-known pieces of classical music. This masterpiece deserves to be heard repeatedly. In this interpretation, the poems will be heard in a careful Portuguese translation and, in an original and communal spirit, the concert will also feature soloists recreating the different movements that compose it.
