A shepherdess gathers her flock, feeds them and tells them a love story. She sings to them to help them eat, to help them fall asleep, to help them play and to discover new words.
To mark the 500th anniversary of the birth of the poet Luís de Camões, a text by one of the greatest figures in Portuguese literature is being performed. It is a love poem where music, images, colours and senses conjure up a moment of sharing between art and babies, between poetry and families, between the light of our eyes and yours.
A green show for babies, full of questions and poetry:
Where is the green?
In the grass of the fields? In the green, yellow or blue lemon? In the soup bowl? In the eyes of my beloved?
The color, the sound, the song, the dance of words. Words are our favorite toy.
